Here are the simple results from a Science fair project presented by a girl in a secondary school in Sussex.
In it she took filtered water and divided it into two parts.

The sugar we purchase in the supermarket for personal consumption is heated up in chalk-milk, so that calcium and protein are extracted.
But if you care at all (really care) about your health and your families health… Pay Attention.
It initially becomes an alkaloid, thus destroying all vitamin content. In the second phase, the sugar is mixed with acid chalk, carbonic gas, sulphur dioxide and finally, with natrium bicarbonate.
This mixture is cooked and cooled off several times, and thereafter crystallized and centrifugalized.
This dead mass is then treated with strontium hydroxide. Subsequently, it arrives at the refinery where it is passed over chalk carbon acid to clean it.
Dark coloring is removed by adding sulphuric acid and then it is filtered with bone charcoal. Finally, it is colored with Indathrenblue, or the highly toxic Ultramarine.
All of its life-giving and protective forces have been destroyed, and this product called sugar has an atomic density of 98.4 to 99.5 %. Bet you didn’t hear that on any commercials did you?

Such density falls under the category of poison. This industrial sugar irritates the mucous membranes, tissues, glands, blood vessels and intestinal tracts of the persons who eat it.
White sugar also paralyzes the intestinal peristaltic functions and leads to immune system failure. White sugar also destroys brain cells and elevates the internal temperature of the body.
The relationship between sugar and the brain is just as astounding. The problems have increased with the consumption of industrial sugar and white starch.
The brain was originally stimulated and fed by natural fruit-sugars. This has given the brain its stability and structural thinking patterns.
Fruits coming mostly from mono-cultures, soaked in pesticides and environmental toxins, are far from being a good brain-food. The consumption of dead sugar is increasing astronomically.
The brain collapses and acts crazy and unreasonable because of the influence of white sugar. This contributes also to family problems – including violence.
In the United States in 1970, there were 40 million people that sought medical help because of emotional disturbances. Just imagine what those numbers are 42 years later?
The German educational department mentions in 1978, that in Hamburg, of 2000 children of the age of six, 55% suffer from important emotional disturbances, 20% have anorexia, and another 20% have sleeping problems.
Any other substance with the same atomic density is called poison and cannot be obtained without a medical prescription and then only a few grams of it.
The point here is that sugar, REAL sugar, is not the problem.
The problem is that refined sugar no longer qualifies as food. This means that when “the white stuff” is ingested, the vitamins, and particularly the minerals required for burning (or storing) that fuel internally (B-1, B-2, biotin, niacin, pantothenic acid, magnesium, and others), do not accompany the now totally pure and concentrated sugar!
The body will handle the fuel. However, it does it by taking from body stores already in existence.
The sugar growers have spent untold amounts of money, hiring scientists to prove some benefits of their processed sugar, but in several decades, they are unable to. In fact, just the opposite has been proven.
The best scientific names that money could buy have been hired, in the hope that they could one day come up with something at least pseudoscientific in the way of glad tidings about sugar.
It has been proved, however, that (1) sugar is a major factor in dental decay; (2) sugar in a person’s diet does cause overweight; (3) removal of sugar from diets has cured symptoms of crippling, worldwide diseases such as diabetes, cancer and heart illnesses.
Sir Frederick Banting, the co discoverer of insulin, noticed in 1929 in Panama that, among sugar plantation owners who ate large amounts of their refined stuff, diabetes was common. Among native cane-cutters, who only got to chew the raw cane, he saw no diabetes.

According to recent research done by Sanjay Gupta M.D. for his special report, “Toxic America” on CNN, there are five prevalent toxins in our environment that many of us now carry in our bodies. These five chemicals are possibly linked to certain illnesses, developmental problems, and behavioral problems. They are: bisphenol-A (BPA), phthalates, PFOA, formaldehyde, and PDBEs.
Bisphenol-A (BPA) is a chemical found in plastic and may mimic estrogen in the body, disrupting the endocrine system. Each year in the United States, nearly 90 million plastic bottles are purchased, burdening both the environment and your health. BPAs seep into your beverages during normal use, especially at high temperatures (such as in hot weather). To minimize damage to both the planet and your health, try glass or stainless steel bottles and containers, which can be safely re-used by everyone in the family.
Phthalates are chemicals that bind other chemicals together and soften plastics. Sources are shampoo, perfumes, soaps, shower curtains, and vinyl flooring. Phthalates also pose a concern for disturbing the endocrine system. Try to avoid using personal care products that contain fragrance, as these frequently contain phthalates.
PFOA, or perfluorooctanoic acid, is used in non-stick products. It’s possible that heating non-stick pans and cookware causes the PFOA vaporize, which we then breathe in. PFOA has also been found in water sources. Avoid non-stick cookware and opt for stainless steel or cast iron instead.
Formaldehyde is a glue resin found heavily in constructed wood products, such as particle board, plywood, and fiberboard. This chemical releases inhalable vapors, through a process known as “off-gassing.” To reduce exposure, purchase exterior grade pressed wood products, which release much lower amounts of formaldehyde. Increasing ventilation in your home can also help.

This is because items such as televisions and computers contain these chemicals and gradually expel them, where they collect in dust. Breathing in or touching this dust is indeed dangerous, so make sure you regularly clean and dust your house.
